We’re delighted to welcome Dave to Havencare as our new Head of Support.
Dave brings extensive experience across healthcare, clinical leadership and social care. He will lead our Clinical Forum, support colleagues on areas such as medication, health and wellbeing, and work closely with our Registered Managers to strengthen the excellent support delivered across our services.
After beginning his career in the Army, Dave spent more than 23 years with the South Western Ambulance Service in a range of senior operational and clinical roles. He later moved into social care leadership, supporting services across mental health, residential care, nursing and learning disabilities.
Passionate about helping people achieve their potential, Dave is committed to promoting independence, wellbeing and person-centred support, values that closely align with Havencare’s mission.
Outside of work, Dave is Chair of Pete’s Dragons, a suicide bereavement charity, and has a long history of supporting youth rugby in his local community.
Over the coming months, Dave will be visiting services across Havencare to meet colleagues and the people we support.
Please join us in giving him a very warm welcome.
