Weekend Support Worker

Hourly Rate: £12.00 day rate £13.00 night rate (22:00-07:00) (+£2 per hour on usual hourly rate for all overtime)
Hours: 12 hours per week*

We are looking for an enthusiastic, resourceful and forward-thinking person and are excited to be recruiting a Support Worker to support Melissa within our service in St. Austell.

About the Role:

This role is diverse and needs someone who can provide support and care to various people throughout their working day.

Each person has their own flat and receives a level of 1:1 support delivery at different times of the day and have access to a shared support hub.

Melissa likes it when you sing with her, engaging in intensive interaction or driving to a National Trust Garden. Experience of working with people with profound difficulties is desirable but a warm, nurturing, and fun approach to meeting her needs is essential.  Melissa has her own wheelchair adapted vehicle, so a full and clean driving licence is essential.

For occupational requirement reasons we are looking to appoint a female only for this post (exemption under the Equality Act 2010 Part 1 Schedule 9).

This is a weekend only post and would suit those looking for part-time weekend work.

About the usual working pattern:

Week 1:

Sunday: 08:00-18:00

Week 2:

Saturday: 08:00-22:00
