As an organisation that stands up for people's rights it is fitting to remember here the life of a truly inspirational person, who dedicated his life to this very cause. If we can all just take one tiny fragment of his courage and commitment in our daily lives, we can all achieve even more than we ever thought possible for people we support.

Havencare (Southwest) received a nomination in this round of awards, for the work that we have done with the iplanit system, going forward through to the regional finals. It is very pleasing to have received the nomination, and we should be proud of the work that we have done to support people to have their own life, in which iplanit plays important part. We will continue to strive to enable people to grow and develop in whichever way they choose.

20.08.2013 at 09:34

We have recently enjoyed success in achieving a place on the Cornwall framework for providing supported living services. Everyone is very excited, looking forward to the challenge. To make sure that we can support this new venture we have opened an office in Cornwall, at Victoria, just of the A30. We could be required to provide services in any area in Cornwall, so we have tried to pick an office location that is central. Lots to think about, and lots of hard work.
